We Kill Nature and Harm the Earth

Doğayı Katlediyoruz Ve Dünyaya Zarar Veriyoruz

Our world is disappearing

When it comes to describing the world, the first thing that comes to mind is… And of course, we are all aware of global warming. In the following text, we’ll be answering these and many more questions.

If someone were to ask me to define the world, my confident response would be “our home“. It is the only planet we know of that can sustain life, located in the vast expanse of the Milky Way galaxy. Although scientists and astronauts can observe other planets with telescopes, analyzing their colors, gases, atoms, and potential for habitability, we currently lack the technology to travel there. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the human race will not face extinction before we can develop such technology, but I remain hopeful that we will find a way to explore beyond our home and ensure the survival of our species.

Recently, Stephen Hawking declared “There Is No Global Warming!” in response to comments made by climate change deniers. His response to these individuals was both straightforward and poignant. He simply suggested that they visit Venus, which was once a habitable planet like Earth, to see the effects of a runaway greenhouse effect for themselves.

It is a well-known fact that Venus is enveloped by dense clouds of sulfuric acid, which effectively block the sun’s rays from reaching the planet’s surface. This may lead some to believe that Venus is a colder planet than Earth, but in reality, it is quite the opposite. Despite being the second farthest planet from the sun, Venus is actually hotter than Mercury, which is the closest planet to the sun. This is due to the extreme atmospheric greenhouse effect on Venus, which causes the planet’s surface to be hot enough to melt lead with a melting point of 327.5°C.

What is the Major Cause of Global Warming?

What event caused global warming and rising temperatures, and what is the current situation summary?

The answer to the question is that the small amount of heat that penetrates the simple clouds cannot escape due to the blocking effect of the dense carbon dioxide atmosphere. CO2 gas acts like a suffocating blanket that traps the heat inside, leading to an uncontrollable greenhouse effect on Venus.

No one is burning coal or driving gas-guzzling vehicles on Venus, yet its environment is being destroyed. Natural phenomena can cause environmental degradation without the presence of intelligent life. Alternatively, some theories suggest that Venus may have been our original home when humans were first created. In this scenario, it could be humans who destroyed the planet, leading to a few survivors fleeing to Earth to start anew. Unfortunately, we cannot study Venus at the moment due to its thick cloud cover which prevents us from viewing its surface from space.

Venus Studies

In 1982, the Soviet Union achieved a major milestone when it successfully landed Venera 13, the very first vehicle on Venus. The vehicle was able to endure the planet’s extreme temperature for a maximum of 2 hours and transmitted the impressive photo shown below. However, while this was a monumental achievement, it was not enough to conduct extensive research on the planet. It is possible that other forms of life exist with the ability to evolve and adapt to such harsh and extreme conditions.

According to scientific research, it is a fact that the carbon ratios of Venus and Earth were identical at the start. However, as Earth underwent a series of transformations, it has become a planet that is capable of supporting human and animal life. Meanwhile, Venus has become an extremely hazardous place, primarily because of the presence of the element carbon.

Venus contains nearly all of its carbon in the form of carbon dioxide gas within its atmosphere, whereas on Earth, the majority of carbon is found in the solid rock layers, which have undergone carbonization over a long period of time. An example of this is the White Dover Slopes located in the English Channel.

It is an undeniable truth that the presence of CO2 on Earth prevents it from being a frozen wasteland. Conversely, if the Earth were to be positioned twice as close to the sun as it is now, it would be an unbearably hot place. Nevertheless, even under such extreme conditions, Earth is still no match for Venus, which lost its ocean billions of years ago and therefore cannot come remotely close to Earth’s temperature. This highlights why Venus has an atmosphere that is 90 times denser than ours.

In 1958, Charles David Keeling made a groundbreaking discovery on accurately measuring CO2 levels in the atmosphere. This discovery revealed that our world was headed towards destruction. The increase in CO2 levels was a significant deviation from the levels that were typical during the rise of agriculture and civilization. Research has proven that the Earth has never undergone such a change in the past 3 million years.

How Confident about CO2 Rise and Historical Data?

The evidence of climate change is solid as a rock. Climatologists have confidently observed this phenomenon by extracting ice cores from the depths of glaciers in Greenland and Antarctica. Within the layers of ice, ancient air is trapped, and thanks to these ices, we can confidently read the undisturbed record of the Earth’s atmosphere, stretching back over the last 800,000 years. During all this time, the amount of CO2 in the air did not exceed 1 in 30 thousand. At least until the 20th century… However, the amount of CO2 continues to confidently increase rapidly and steadily, despite this historical threshold.

Burning oil, coal, and gas produces CO2 at an alarming rate that exceeds the Earth’s natural ability to consume. Consequently, CO2 accumulates in the atmosphere, leading to a significant rise in global temperatures.

Why are we not aware?

Our world is indeed facing challenges, but we are not daunted by them. Rather, we are fully aware of the situation and have the expertise and resources to find a new planet where we can thrive. Despite the threat of extinction, we are confident that we can overcome this challenge with our knowledge and technology.

We can confidently expect to witness additional extinctions as we continue to invade the planet where animals lived long before the concepts of countries, states, cultures, languages, and religions were introduced.?We Kill Nature and Harm the Earth
