Let me say this up front: most people who work with me end up saying “I wish we’d met sooner.” Because I start marketing with people, not dashboards. The one truth I learned in New York’s most competitive market: ads are not an expense that burns budget; set up right, they become a steady revenue channel. That is exactly what I build for individuals and brands — measurable, profitable, sustainable growth. My approach rests not on theory but on campaigns I have run first-hand across two continents, the budgets I have managed, and the human psychology behind the numbers. No hype here; just a field-tested method that works.
My background
A brief overview below; each entry marks a period that shaped how I work today.
It all started here: faruktoprak.com went live. I took my first step into the digital world with a site under my own name.
I completed my bachelor’s at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (Accounting and Financial Management) and my master’s at Marmara University (Financial Markets Investment and Management). Reading finance through numbers is the foundation of my ROI-centered approach today.
During my master’s and for a while after graduation, I began my first professional career at Eczacıbaşı. Then, to learn the field first-hand in the world’s most competitive market, I moved to New York State.
As Digital Marketing Account Manager at All Marble Tiles (New Jersey), I ran all online sales for Wayfair, Houzz and allmarbletiles.com — end to end, from SEO to Google & Meta ads, conversion tracking to e-commerce strategy.
At Canon Eurasia as a Digital Marketing Professional, I managed the brand’s Google Ads and social media advertising, monthly reporting and campaign optimization.
In New York, at Cruise Norway (Cruisemon Inc.), I led SEM, social and web teams across four brands (Cruise Norway, Epic Polar, Expedition Voyages, World Cruise Finder) as Account Manager.
I launched the “Filtresiz Dijital” podcast (formerly “Türkiye’de Dijital Pazarlama”) to close the Turkish-content gap with my own voice.
As SEM Manager at AI Media Group, I ran ROI-driven Google and Bing search campaigns for US brands such as NYPD, Panasonic USA, ConnectiCare and Churchill Downs.
I returned to Turkey and founded Joykek: the agency where we deliver 360-degree marketing, SEO and AI-focused solutions to corporate brands and individuals.
I became a Usui Reiki Master and began NLP and psychology training to understand sales and human psychology in depth. Seeing the person behind the numbers changes everything.
I taught digital marketing for 30 weeks at Acun Medya Akademi, continued my NLP and psychology training, and grew my own teaching journey with Joy Akademi.
Through Joykek I consult, run one-on-one training at Joy Akademi, and produce “Filtresiz Dijital”.

To pass on what I’ve learned in the field, I founded Joy Akademi, where I teach Google Ads and Meta Ads as head instructor. We turn participants not into people who memorize dashboards, but into the sought-after performance experts who scale brand budgets profitably - with weekly live sessions, real ad accounts, AI tools and never-ending mentorship. Our graduates manage freelance clients and work at agencies and corporate companies.
