Marketing Strategies for Success on Etsy

In this solo episode, Faruk Toprak discusses how to increase sales and boost visibility for your store on Etsy and virtual marketplaces.

While explaining product development and organic ranking methods on Etsy, we featured two (2) tools in the podcast. The first is erank and the second is Alura. I've shared in detail how to improve product SEO and increase visibility with these two applications. I've also summarized the advantages of these tools below.

Advantages Offered by Alura and Erank

1. Product Tracking: We can track how many units of which products are sold. Additionally, it's possible to see how much sales different stores make from which products.
   
2. SEO Improvements: With Erank, another important extension for Etsy, we can monitor keyword popularity and competition status. Alura shows how much revenue is generated from these keywords.
   
3. Product-Based SEO: By tracking how much each product sells, we can conduct product-based SEO work.
   
4. Free Usage: Although Alura has a free version, it provides a limited number of predictions. For more features and data, we can consider the monthly $19 Starter or annual $29 Professional packages.
   
5. Email Marketing: Alura sends reminders to customers who haven't left reviews when we receive orders. This is a useful feature for increasing customer feedback.
   
6. Etsy Integration: Alura uses the Etsy infrastructure directly and is added as a Google Chrome extension.
   
7. Store Review: When researching a product on Etsy and activating the Alura extension, we can see which store sells the product, the revenue generated, and the tags used. Additionally, we can review stores and obtain potential product ideas.
   
8. Product Research: Alura allows us to enter detailed information about products through "Product Research" and "Product Seeker" categories and provides monthly sales predictions accordingly.
